ILuigi Emanuele Foscale (born in Milan, February 23, 1979) is an Italian entrepreneur specialized in innovation, startups, and value creation. He holds degrees in Economics and Political Science, plus a Master in Business Management. His career began in finance, before moving into strategy with Accor and eventually launching his own ventures.

From Finance to Entrepreneurship

Between 1999 and 2004, he worked in Swiss financial institutions, building expertise in global markets. He then joined Accor Italia as executive assistant to the CEO, gaining direct experience in business strategy.

In 2006, he launched his first consulting firm. Since then, Luigi has founded, turned around, and scaled multiple businesses across sectors — from services to real estate, biotech, sport, and digital innovation.

In 2009, he acquired 33% of Serist S.p.A. (a services company in crisis) and led its turnaround: from operating losses to €10M profit in three years, with a successful exit in 2011. That deal earned him the nickname “Mr. Exit”.

From 2011 to 2020, he led a major real estate and NPL investment strategy across Italy, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe, generating strong returns through asset valorization and smart exits.

In 2020, Luigi co-founded a biotech startup and also launched Top Player Academy, a football academy for young talents, where he is CEO.

In 2020, Luigi Foscale joined the capital of Grownnectia and was appointed CEO for the Milan division.His leadership helped scale the incubator from 160 to over 1,400 supported startups in just four years. The strategic partnership was featured in top media outlets including TGCOM24, Il Sole 24 Ore, and StartupItalia.

Luigi Foscale is also a shareholder in several innovative startups and companies across diverse sectors. These include a biotech venture focused on extracting active compounds from agri-food waste, a high-end pastry business inspired by French excellence, a military-tech company developing unmanned ground vehicles and advanced defense systems, and a next-generation AI platform creating virtual sales agents for e-commerce. His strategic involvement combines equity, advisory, and commercial acceleration to drive growth and market impact.

He is the founder of FSEI – Foscale School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Foscale Accelerator, helping startups grow and exit through strategic mentorship and capital. He collaborates with leading accelerators and builds equity deals with high-potential founders.

In 2012, Luigi Foscale launched the blog Retire Rich by Luigi Foscale, focused on financial freedom through passive income. The platform quickly became a reference point for entrepreneurs seeking long-term wealth strategies. He also launched a personal clipping page on FT.com, becoming the most-read profile on the platform. His articles remained in the Top 5 for over 100 consecutive weeks, a rare achievement of international recognition. This exposure cemented his reputation as a high-impact thought leader.
